Two Powerful Qualities All Successful People have…

Entrepreneur Mindset

After studying Happiness and Success for many years, I found that all successful business people have the following two major qualities in common.

You are not automatically born with these qualities. You have to develop them, work at them and sometimes you have to go through your own personal development to make it happen.

Here they are:

1) Commitment

2) Conviction

Let’s have a look at Commitment first:

A Definition of Commitment: “The state of being bound emotionally or intellectually to a course of action or to another person or persons.”

The state of being bound: If you are being bound to something there is no “If”, “And” or “But”. Being bound means, you are going to do what it takes, flat out, hands down, no question.

Emotionally or intellectually: With all of your being you are bound to a particular course of action and the course of action I’m talking about is YOUR personal vision and written goals. In order to achieve your goals you have to be emotionally and intellectually BOUND to those goals.

Anybody, experiencing successful results is committed to their Business and their Vision behind it. They have a clear vision where they want to be in life. They’re going to do what ever it takes to get there. They see their business as a vehicle to take them where they want to go.

The course of action: What actions are we talking about? The Set of ACTIONS you’ve identified you have to take to make your Business be successful.

Any successful person will do what ever it takes to learn the “Income Producing Activities” it takes to be successful in their business.

They are aware and perfectly committed also to learn their craft. They sacrifice “Time Wasting Activities” which are not pointing in the right direction towards new, more fulfilling activities that bring them closer to their goals. They will change the way they live their life, too and do a course correction towards their vision.

To learn how to do it, they will read the books they need to read, go to seminars/trainings they need to do, etc.

They are committed in their thinking because they know if you are not truly committed to your business you won’t be.

If you are here to tap you toe in the water and just dabble, you might as well “hang up your boots” right now and find something else to do because it is not going to work.

There is nobody successful in business that’s just dabbling, trying to see if that might be something that works, they are committed first.

Mental Commitment comes first, the Success comes after wards.

A Definition Of Conviction: “Conviction is a state of being convinced a certainty of belief.”

Conviction

Conviction comes from your belief in the system, in how your business works, your certainty of belief of the fact that your business is going to give you where you want to be. If somebody is convinced there is no shadow of a doubt. It’s done, it’s not “this business might get me where I want to be. ”This business might be something for me”. “I thing I might” …

Think about it from where you stand, are you somebody that is already having the success you want? Then I’m sure, you are committed! You took the actions you were bound to that course of actions and you took it. You had that conviction and you believed it was going to happen before it happened.

If you’re not having those results if you are someone that is in “something” for a couple of weeks and you are still in that state of: “Maybe, I give this a try”, “Maybe, I think about it.” “It sounds good, it looks good, I am not quite sure, though.”

Think about it, lack of Conviction maybe one of those reasons why you haven’t had the success that you are looking for, yet.

Are you truly bound emotionally to this course of action, are you really, really committed to your goals? And, why are you in your business?

Everybody has this big, huge WHY!

If you here, “I just want to make money” then you better go and reassess because everybody wants to make money. There is no person in the world that says “I don’t want to make money.” In someway shape or form everybody wants money.

But why do you want it? What is that going to do for you? Who are you going to be able to help by making that happen for yourself? What is your greater purpose?

And until you have that Purpose that Why for yourself, your commitment might not be there.

Get your goals lined up and get committed to them.

Once you’re truly committed to your goals you see and you feel that course of action will become a lot easier, making those sacrifices will become a lot easier, jumping out of your comfort zone becomes a lot easier, investing in yourself to grow becomes a lot easier.
