While most people dream about working at home, some are already having successful home businesses and they wouldn’t give them up for anything in the world. With a Home Business you learn how to become financially independent and start your own home business with the least effort.
Before you start thinking of your own home business, you have to realize that everything has advantages and disadvantages in life, but in the end you have to pick the thing that has the advantages you like most and just deal with its drawbacks. Having a home business is no different – it has its own pros and cons:
Pro: Freedom
You can do whatever you want in your own home. There is no one to order you around, you have to wake up early in the morning and you don’t even have to obey a dress code – you can work in your pyjamas if you like. You can work 4 hours in a day and 12 in the next, or as many as your home business needs to be successful. A serious Home Business can help you get that full control over your own life and finance.
Con: You are on your own
There is nobody to take care of your business but yourself and if you’re not there to make your business work, then you don’t get paid. If you want to live freely, you have to assume this responsibility, even though, at times, you might wish to get your check on a regular basis once again.
Pro: Flexibility
There’s no one setting your schedule but you. You can start working at noon or you can start working at 6 am and finish by lunch-time. You can take off Mondays and work on Saturdays. Your schedule can be as flexible as you want it to be. With working from home you get to forget you’ve ever worked on a 9-to-5 schedule.
Con: Too much work
One of the dangers of working home is becoming a workaholic and working up to 16 hours a day to finish certain projects for your business. This is not only dangerous for your physical and mental health, but it also means you get to spend little to no time with your family and friends. With the right Company and partners you learn how to plan everything ahead so you don’t get overwhelmed by too much work and how to live a balanced life.
Pro: Full pay and no cuts
Have you ever felt like you’re letting other people get rich on your back? You do all the work and you only get a small fraction of the money. That doesn’t seem too fair does it? Plus, you never have to worry about getting your salary cut for whatever reason. Once you find the Company that resinates with you you get all the money, all the time, and your work is fully rewarded.
Con: One to manage all
While have all the control sure is nice, it can also be overwhelming. Unlike your regular job where you only had to take care of a small part of a business, now you have to manage the whole business. That means you have to deal with all the suppliers, the marketing, the accounting, taxes and so on. Since you run a whole business by yourself, you have to deal with all the aspects of a business. You can make life a lot easier for you working for a Company that shows you how to deal with all these easily and you will learn how to even delegate some of them to other companies.
Pro: No commuting
Commuting can be one of the biggest time wasters in your life. You get no work done while you are commuting and it’s not even something that is fun to do. It’s just a complete waste of time. This is why one of the biggest advantages of working from home is that your work is right next to you so you save all that time that you would’ve spent commuting otherwise, on doing something useful or fun.
Con: Turning a whole room into an office
While you may think that since you’re working at home you can do all your work from your bedroom, doing work where you sleep is not a very good idea. You don’t want to go through your working day feeling half-asleep and wishing you could spend more time in bed. At the end of the day you’ll realize that you got little done and be disappointed with yourself. What you need is to set up a special room to call it your office. That’s where all the work and business will be done. The downside is that you have to crowd everything you had in that room into the rest of your home.
Pro: Living a healthier life
Since you spend all day at home, you get to eat some real food for lunch. Working at a company office might get you to miss your meals or not eat proper food, which is bad for your body.
Con: Working all by yourself
For some, being alone in the house might sound like a good idea if they usually prefer to work in privacy. However, for those who like making new friends and socializing, it may feel very lonely and may get depressed about it. Some people also work better when in teams and if you’re one of them you might find it hard at first to do the work all by yourself.
Worlomg for a Direct Sales Company you get to work from home but also interact with people that share your thoughts and ideas, and want to help you succeed as a person and also as a businessman or businesswoman.
Most people that are already working from home will tell you that they much prefer it to working at a company’s office and that they are very happy they decided to take this step in the first place. With the right Company you learn to take full advantage of any high potential opportunities that might come your way and achieve your full potential as a person.
