One thing I found out about Online Marketing: What you are really marketing and branding is YOU.Inc. Companies and products come and go. But if you build up yourself as a source for quality service & product knowledge people will always come back to you. A You.Inc. website will give you credibility outside of your marketing. It also allows prospects to delve MUCH deeper into your story and really get a sense for who you are.

Always keep the concept of banding You.Inc in the back of your mind in all of your marketing.

You want to focus more on developing YOURSELF and marketing you and your reputation within the industry more than you do on your connection to your company.

It’s a matter of how YOU see yourself:

1. I’m a REP for company xyz or

2. I’m an empowered online entrepreneur with a ton of value to share.

YOU Are Your Business.

So put as much attention on developing yourself as a leader as you do on your

company’s compensation plan, product details, and other nuances.

Because the truth of the matter is, nothing really matters compared to what YOU have to offer your prospects.

So, How Can You Brand Yourself Best?

The key to personally branding yourself is to BE YOURSELF.

Consistently offer great content and share messages from your heart. Your content will improve as time goes on and as you continue to invest in your learning.

What your prospects/clients will LOVE is if they can feel your generosity, truthfulness, and genuine sense of integrity and VALUE.

Don’t be afraid to show the REAL you. Allow people to experience your passion and leadership through your words, video, audio, or whatever marketing medium you choose to use to put yourself out there.

Your success comes back to INVESTING in yourself.

A website with the domain name www.YourName.com is a perfect site to have as you build your online presence. As prospects begin to delve deeply into WHO you are, they’ll be more impressed and will develop a stronger connection with you IF you have a personal YOU.Inc. website.

People should get to see the Real You, the real You as an entrepreneur and private person. Show and share pictures, stories, videos etc. You website should also have your business portfolio, resources page, and several ways for prospects to contact you.
